About your host

Heather is the winner of the Mitre Women in Health Tech Award and the NJ STEM Entrepreneur of the Year. She started her first company at the age of 23, Fumee, a cigar bar and media company where she was featured in publications like Cigar Snob, Cigar Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. In 2016, she founded Welnys, the world's largest marketplace of health and wellness professionals for the workplace powering corporate wellness programs for PayPal, Walmart, The City of Boston and more. Welnys was acquired in 2022, and after a year off, Heather returned to work on her third start-up, Amelia (this site!). Heather speaks German and has traveled to 6 continents, 39 countries and 29 US states.
